Get on your bike! Popularity and price of bikes and e-scooters rise in last months

The lockdown and the new proposed government cycling scheme have created the perfect setting for a boom in the popularity and price of bicycles and e-scooters, as Brits look to keep active and healthy during the pandemic. 

On PriceSpy, from when lockdown began in March to July, bikes have seen a 23% increase in popularity compared to last year, and e-scooters a whopping 109%. The price of bikes is also up by about 10%, meaning those eager to get in on the action do face having to fork out that little bit extra.
