What to expect
Sulphur spot treatment
Sulfur 10% Powder-to-Cream Concentrate is a targeted treatment for spots. It is applied directly to the acne lesion and is designed to reduce both size and redness. The formula contains 10% sulphur, which acts on three measures: height, diameter and redness.
The product is intended for single blemishes, not for large areas of skin. It is suitable when you want to treat individual spots without applying a thin layer over the entire face.
Sulphur is described as a gentle option for acne treatment, making the product suitable for sensitive skin as well. The formula uses colloidal sulphur with smaller particle size to aid delivery and reduce the ingredient's visibility and odour.
Powder that becomes cream on application
The product has an unusual texture that starts as a powder and transforms into a light emulsion when dispensed and rubbed into the skin. It makes dosing easy and provides a discreet application.
The formula is designed to remain on the skin after application. You should not rinse it off. The product is applied to the affected area in a thin layer, one to three times daily.
Ingredients and test results
In addition to sulphur, the formula contains L‑carnitine, niacinamide, kaolin and glycerin. The ingredients are chosen to support acne treatment and help control visible shine.
Clinical testing on 30 people after a single application showed that the spot's height was reduced by 45% after 1 hour. Diameter was reduced by 17% and redness was diminished by 50% in the same period.
Usage and precautions
Begin by cleansing the skin thoroughly. Take a small amount of powder on a clean finger and apply directly to the spot. Massage the product into the skin and leave it.
Sulphur can react with silver surfaces, so remove jewellery before application and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. The product is for external use only and should not be used on broken skin or over large areas of skin.
