New design for better comfort and control

Samsung has developed a new, slimmer design by analysing hundreds of millions of ear shapes and running over 10,000 simulations. The result is smaller earbuds that sit more securely and comfortably during long periods of use.

Galaxy Buds4 Pro have a so-called canal-fit design that sits inside the ear canal and provides maximum sound isolation. Galaxy Buds4 have an open-fit design that rests more openly in the ear and feels airier.

A stabilised “blade” shape keeps the earbuds securely in place. A marked area shows where to squeeze to control functions. The case has a transparent lid and charges and stores the earbuds in a simple way.

More powerful and more detailed sound

Galaxy Buds4 Pro have a new, wider woofer. The larger surface moves more and provides almost 20 per cent larger effective speaker area than the previous model, without making the earbuds bigger. The result is deeper bass and richer sound.

A separate tweeter handles high tones. Together, the speakers deliver clear and balanced sound with support for 24-bit/96 kHz. Music is reproduced more like the original recording, from bright violin sounds to deep bass notes.

The speakers are positioned to improve active noise cancellation and reduce interference from wind.

Smart noise reduction and clearer calls

Improved active noise cancellation blocks out noise from, for example, buses, trains and planes. The system automatically adapts to the surroundings and adjusts the sound in real time.

Adaptive ANC and Adaptive EQ analyse how the earbuds sit in the ear and adjust both noise reduction and sound profile. The audio becomes more personal and balanced.

During calls, the Buds4 series uses a wider audio bandwidth than standard Bluetooth and AI-based noise reduction. The function filters out background noise and amplifies the voice. Calls sound clearer even in noisy environments.

Deeper integration with Galaxy and AI

Galaxy users can launch AI services such as Bixby, Google Gemini and Perplexity with voice control. Buds4 Pro provides access to AI features without needing to take the phone out.

When you open the case, the earbuds quickly connect to Galaxy devices without needing to install extra apps. The user adjusts volume and sound settings directly via the quick menu.

Buds4 Pro also support head gestures to manage calls and activate Bixby. Together with voice control, these features provide a more hands-free everyday experience.
