What you can expect

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni builds on the Nova Pro Wireless, but adds more simultaneous audio sources, a better microphone and broader support for different platforms. The idea is that you should be able to bring together gaming, chat and music in the same headset without changing your setup between devices.

Sound and connections

The headset uses 40 mm neodymium drivers and delivers high-resolution audio wirelessly via 2.4 GHz. There is also Bluetooth 5.3 LE with LC3+, which provides low latency and good sound quality for mobile use. Via Gamehub you get three USB-C inputs, line in and line out, so several sources can be active at the same time.

Microphone and noise reduction

The new Clearcast Pro microphone has greater bandwidth than before and is combined with AI-based noise reduction directly in the hardware. This means background noise is filtered out on multiple platforms, not just on PC. The headphones also have improved active noise cancellation and a transparency mode when you want to hear your surroundings without taking off the headset.

Battery, app and use

SteelSeries uses a dual-battery system where one battery charges while the other is in use. Each battery lasts up to 30 hours, and fast charging gives several hours of play in a short time. In the Arctis app you can adjust EQ, mic level, chat mix, spatial audio and volume per source, as well as choose from many game profiles.

What’s included

  • Arctis Nova Pro Omni headset
  • Gamehub base station
  • 2 batteries
  • 3 USB-C cables
  • Microphone pop filter

Arctis Nova Pro Wireless

Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is closer to Omni in layout, but lacks several of the newer improvements. It still has a base station, active noise cancellation and dual batteries, but Omni adds more simultaneous audio sources, a better microphone and Hi-Res Wireless.

If you want SteelSeries premium feel but do not need the latest multi-source mixing, it can be a more direct option. It also suits you if you are already happy with the older generation’s features and want to keep the cost down compared with Omni.

Arctis Nova Elite.

Arctis Nova Elite

Arctis Nova Elite is the top model in the range and goes further in materials and finish. It uses carbon fibre drivers and has the most premium construction in the series, while also supporting OmniPlay and multiple simultaneous sources.

Compared with Omni, Elite is more exclusive and more expensive. Omni is therefore a more accessible choice for those who want many of the features but do not need the most premium model or the same luxurious level of materials and finish.
