Drive with a pair of Dynavoice DM-6, here comes my first impression. Compare to the old home cinema receiver Pioneer VSX-421 and have only tested digital inputs so far.
+ Smoothly with Spotify! Started literally in 2 seconds
+ Optical / coaxial input for TV / bluray
+ Good sound on the FM radio (the old amplifier sounded very thin there)
+ Great price
+ Possibility of bi-wire
+ Quality despite lots of plastic on the front
+/- Hot sound (if you like it)
- Do not feel great
- lacking clarity
- No RIAA step
- Buttons instead of steering wheel to bass / treble
- No loudness / direct
- No steering wheel on the front (available in the menu)
Many of the shortcomings are released with the R-N602, so you're not stupid as I'm probably the better choice. However, I did not want to spend twice as much money on the amplifier as the speakers, and I'm still pleased with my choice for the price I gave.
EDIT: Did actually return this when I after two weeks tested the old amplifier again. I actually like the sound on the better, sounds more airy and open and with clearer treble. Not as terrible sound either. But if you like warm sound, this amplifier is good for the money.
