Addition: Spotify in Sweden. Many who post on the spotify's forum, etc. One can choose to register their echo on either US or UK servers. I recommend the UK as it is a bit closer. Log in to: xwww.amazon.co.uk/mycd Select right "settings" and then "country settings" Change to United Kingdom Name Name London Postcode from London tex: WC2N 5DU Save! Clear! Log in to: alexa.amazon.co.uk Add echo dot there. Now it is possible to choose Spotify. Do not forget to put Spotify as default music service since. If you already have an alexa account, it's great to log in to xwww.amazon.co.uk/mycd afterwards! PS. Do not mix US and UK! X before www is just because you may not be able to directly link here. Your physical postal address for delivery is not changed! It's only for digital content! If you want to run US servers instead, it's: xwww.amazon.com/mycd alexa.amazon.com ---------------- Owns the 3rd Amazon Echo since a month back. Very good! + Big app support (skills). + Good microphones. High sensitivity and range, and works with different types of background sounds like music. + USB power supply. That's just to plug in a Swedish usb charger as there are only US / UK / DE versions yet. + Good voice control for eg Smart Home etc. + Works with a variety of open-source solutions like Home Assistance and Domoticz. I am running Samsung Smart Things myself. + Works to voice voice such as Spotify on any Sono Speaker. - Worse than Google Home when it comes to general questions like search through voice on Google. Amazon uses Bing. - Lack of good Swedish apps (skills). - The Swedish language is not supported yet. You can simply speak English when you control via voice command. And also, for example, dictating shopping lists with English words. Findus Pyttipanna do not work ....: D In summary - Select Amazon Echo to control your home. Select Google Home if you want to search the net with voice control.

Stylish and stylish, but not so good sound 2 out of 10, where a Sonos Play: 1 gets 10/10 with the rating scale sound quality per crown. Spotify searches and playbacks work very well, and can be played in the same way between several Alexor if you are going to spotify before you land to Sweden. However, Alexa does not manage general issues even close as well as Google home, but has much better and more complete integration right now. integrates with Sonos, Telldus, Netatmo, Spotift, Plex and is super smooth to have around the house, has ordered more.

Very nice appliance. Coupled with Telldus so I control the lighting in the home. Can even dim lights with the voice. Very good. Linked to Spotify. The microphones snap up the command at a very good distance. Blue-tailed eagle can connect to bluetooth speakers. Is very satisfied with the price.

The microphone is very good, Alexa understands what you say much better than any other voice assistant I tested. Really recommends, is super pleased :) (However, the price is 2x higher here than in the US so suggests to wait)

Bought 2 from Amazon. Actually works beyond expectation. Control my Philips Hue system, Spotify, TracR, Tp-Link Hs100 and Anymote. Definitely, this type of voting is something we will see more of in the future. Also useful as a small nice virtual assistant who can read your calendar reservation, news, etc. Since it is not released in the north at the time of writing, it only understands English. Also, be sure to buy an adapter so you can plug the dot into your power outlet (UK version if you get it on Amazon).
