For SEK 2690, you probably can't get a better portable speaker that also has an excellent battery that lasts all evening / night. So I bought 3 pieces

For a 5kg, 2700 SEK speaker that can be paired with all other JBL speakers with Connect +, there is typically nothing more to be desired.

I paid SEK 2990 for it and for that price it is a bargain, really nice sound with good pressure in. If you get one for SEK 2990 I have only one thing to say: KÖÖÖÖP! Positively: Awesome battery life! Good sound! Negative (now I'm very stingy): Maximum volume possibly slightly low. It weighs in at just over 5 kg ...

My experiences after a wedding party this summer: It fills without a half-open party tent 6X12m with mingle music before dinner, we once tried to draw on a little more than "mingle level" and the base sounds like it comes from a significantly larger piece. Later in the small hours after the dance, there will be saunas and hot tubs by a lake and the speaker is placed on the jetty outside the sauna, and again the sound, good pressure and clarity throughout the register impresses. Goes to play so loudly that the base "feels" in the dock. However, the water resistance is not fully tested, but a little splashes it without problems. A number of wedding guests (some of whom were actually sober) expressed very positive words about the sound. The loudspeaker was fully charged on the very cold occasions, during the bath it was played at a hefty volume maybe 3..4 hours (do not remember correctly) without any tendencies to slow down (24 hours it should clear on sensed volume). Easy to carry thanks to the sturdy handle. Easy to pair with the mobile, went on for a few seconds. And the price wasn't wrong either, a 20% discount code from CDON appeared timely, the list price was then 4990 SEK. Edit: it is not possible to lower the volume via the button anymore (despite testing on several units and latest firmware so the rating goes down a few snaps due to a quality loss)

Have 2 JBL Xtreme (1st generation), but have wanted to get hold of the Boombox ever since came. Was super happy when last week I found it for 3290 SEK at Elgiganten. Have just downloaded it oh what sound it has. Had actually intended to buy a new Xtreme but the second generation for my one hassle in the charging o must always be plugged into a power outlet now. But paying 2490 for an Xtreme (2nd generation) when you can get a Boombox for 3290 would have been stupid. Yes it is still a lot of money, but 3290kr is definitely the Boombox worth, but 4990 I had not paid for it. Certainly it is a not a loudspeaker you are squeezing around long distances just because it weighs a lot, but it is still easy to move around in the house or out in the garden o it has a fantastic sound and a base that is worth the name bass and like still do not drown the treble. Because Xtremen works equally well, where the Boombox was easy to understand on o it works fine to pair the Xtremes as well. Super happy with my purchase :-D

If 5of 5 then the price hunt is removed the scale from 10. Otherwise they would have been 9av10. As many say it is great. But it is not so dangerous. But it weighs a few kg. It plays better and higher than the JBL extreme. They are heard clearly if you play outdoors and get away from the speaker. Then you hear that the Boombox still has sound filled with bass, while the Xtremen sounds but does not have the rich ones. Then the Boombox plays higher even though JBl xtreme still plays well with it. Jbl is a better beach speaker and a small speaker for the home. The JBL boombox is a better outdoor party speaker where you should play on a larger surface. The ones I miss on the boombox is that one could possibly have an equlizer via the app. Or a bass button. The ones that can be mentioned are that the JBl boombox supplies 2x20watt on battery and 2x30watt with cord. But it is not shy in any way in battery operation. If they come up with an offer, they become one when they can be dropped. And what's better than a boombox? Your 2st boombox

The best speaker I got, sold my JBL Xtreme when the battery started to shine. This is an upgrade in every way. Maybe a little big though (needs a custom bag for it). Perfect for summer evenings and summer days. The waterproofing has allowed me to lie in the water with it and listen. The base is fantastic (especially when plugging it into the wall) and with a safe over 20h battery life the battery level is no problem. However, is a little dissatisfied with the fact that it does not have as much sound volume as I had hoped for ....

I expected more of this, it is good but not worth the money. It's still $ 5000 in store, I think Go Play is much more speaker for the money. Even Xtreme (Gen 1 for about 1500-2000kr) is more speaker for the money.

Buy any of the smaller ones. JBL it does not play 1500 kr more and size

Overall a very good speaker. JBL is a sibling brand for harman / kardon and has taken the harman / kardon model go play 2016 and upgraded it to several points: The speaker plays higher, has more bass, is waterproof and has much better battery life. (Battery life is 5.5h at absolute maximum volume in indoor mode and even longer at absolute max volume in outdoor mode, maybe up to 10 hours. As a comparison, harman / kardon go play 2016 only lasts 2.5 hours at the highest volume, harman kardon onyx studio 4 only 2 hours and B & O Beolit 17 2.5 hours.) Nevertheless, the sound quality and sound character are very soon go play which is very good as the go play sounds very qualitative. Go play sounds something better, which is mostly indoors but JBL boombox is still the absolute winner, just because of all the other points (higher, more bass, better battery life, waterproof). It should also be noted that the boombox, unlike the onyx studio 3/4, sounds as high as the battery as connected with the cord. All that I think is missing with the speaker is some kind of 360 degree sound, but it can be fixed by hanging a flip 4 in the handle so that it plays music backwards. The sound diffusion will be impressive, with a sound that almost plays the same loudly around the entire speaker.
