Have used the 4-5 times, bought in January on Netonnet. Think it is quite advanced and a lot to learn. If you are looking for really good stills, you should choose a system camera instead. It definitely gets approved but I compared with a friend the Canon EOS 800D and the stills (and flash images) got better and sharper on the Canon camera. The built-in flash gets approved but no more. If you are looking to film in 4k then the Panasonic FZ1000 is a fantastic alternative. That's where it shines. It also has mic input, although I think the built-in microphone is clearly approved. The camera is also a good option if you are interested in macro photo. Conclusion: It is a good all-round camera whose strong sides are 4k video and macro. Still images and flash images get approved but cannot be compared to a system camera.

All cameras are a compromise, this has compromised with the size. This camera is in no way a compact camera, as it is more comparable to an SLR in size. The image sensor is significantly smaller than an SLR. What do you get? Well, you get a first-class "all-in-one -kamera" with a very competent objective, which only it had cost four times the money for a SLR, moreover, it had been four times larger and four times heavier. You get a speedy camera, packed with all the features you could possibly need including 4k video. The autofocus is the fastest I've experienced in a non-SLR. The viewfinder is wonderful to use, the camera lies comfortably in the hand and all the controls are where they should be. Is not it a bit plasticky, but it's better than a lot heavier camera. The only downside I can think of is that it lacks the touch, it is very easy to put the focus point with the touch when you got used to it, it is annoying not to be able to do it. I have previously had both SLR and a smaller compact 1 "sensor (Canon G7X, the same sensor as this). With the camera system, I always had the" wrong "lens with me and was constantly looking for better lens. With compact camera suktade I am always looking for more zoom options . this is for me the best compromise. and given that the successor FZ2000 cost twice as much, and the nearest competitor Sony RX10 II cost nearly 16,000, I think this is terrible affordable.

This has become my favorite camera with sharp fine details and colors at all focal lengths directly from the camera without image processing. The biggest positive surprise is nonetheless movie mode where you can pick out 8.2 MP crisp images and macro images with full zoom at one meter distance and focal length from 600 to 1000 mm where I got them best insect pictures I've ever seen from my cameras. I also have two SLRs with 20 MP sensor. They will probably lying at home in the future, this camera has all focal lengths, film and the macro of the same. A star deduction for the weight and size.

I have had a FZ62 and FZ200 a very good cameras, however, arises noise even at ISO 1600 due. of a small sensor but even so, they are very good cameras, especially when the FZ200. I bought my FZ1000 a month ago and it is larger and heavier than the FZ200 to call it compact camera is a bit wrong. The feeling is consistently high and has a good grip on the camera. As the FZ200, there are a vari-angle screen which now has 921,600 pixels and an optical viewfinder on 2,359 Mpixels resolution for an incredible good picture through an OLED display with accurate colors and also ensuring all the info in. Filming with the camera going to do with UHD 4K, I have "only" tried 1080P and it is so good that you are amazed! So both photo and movie are world-class, largely thanks to the 1 "sensor, so I really can not recommend this camera, plus it has all the settings that you can think of and then some. Really fun camera to work with and above all easy to avoid having to drag along a bunch of different lenses. what you need to buy a bag, UV filter 62 mm and a spare battery. A bag that fits well is LowePro Toploader Zoom 45 AW II. Thanks for listening!
