For its time a good camera, my just gave up after almost 10-year service. Sad, but now it's probably a 100D instead.
Great entry level camera in the digital SLR swamp! Have all the features you need to begin with, so I would definitely recommend a 300D at the right price even today!
Purchased via a friend who was away on foreign missions. Became well a 3000-4000kr cheaper than the then Swedish price, ie unbeatable. It is a little slow in sequence shooting and writing and reading to and from the memory card, thereof in a 9.
Is very very happy with the camera. Provides incredible images with a little better lens. Disadvantages are that it is slow for sports photography, if you want to take more than four consecutive shots in a row it needs time to recharge.
Provides ruggit good pictures. Russian hack is needed to get as much as possible. Only thing I would complain about is the buffer that is too small, and startup time is a little too long.
