Very happy with this lens. Bought cheap used car for a couple of years ago but was in top condition. Now use with the EOS M with EF adapter. One of the sharpest lenses I have. 50 mm is good enough for what I use it for, close-ups of electronics and other goodies. Nothing I use as normal lens, however, for it is too heavy and has a loud, but accurate autofocus.

I had thoughts of a macro lens for a while, but did not know if I've wanted to put out at least 4000 - in a relatively sensible objective. By chance I find later this macro on Cnet with a severely reduced price. The fact that I already owned the Sigma 70-300 DG, which provides unimpressive pictures, so I did not have too high expectations for this lens. But oh, so pleasantly surprised I was! Sharp images with very little, on the border with no chromatic aberration. The only negative might be the focus that has little trouble finding and that it sounds a lot, but it can certainly live with, considering the price and results. Along with my Canon EF 50/1, 8, so this is now my favorite lens.
