A loophole okay if you want to test a wide angle zoom for a cheap penny, bought my used one. But sold it after a while when I realized that I am not a wide buff. Used it on a Nikon D700, ie full-frame. Not the sharpest loophole in the cabinet, but does its job, has now been replaced with a Tokina 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 I got for a fifth of the price of this, do no better then I rarely use wide angle.
Are you wide buff and are looking for a really sharp glugg right into the corners so well maybe not this be recommended, then I'd recommend a fixed Nikon 14mm or Nikon 14-24mm.
