Awesome, except that it's very easy to 'blow' the lamp if you connect to an external battery

Quick recycle time even with cheap crap batteries.

Absolutely incredible lightning! You can turn on the ceiling how high it is, and lasts (almost) infinitely far. Loading up cruelly quickly with rechargeable batteries. Many + for quick-mount compared with screw mount on the cheaper flashes. The only thing - is the size, but there have to live with. A tip: Do not at maximum power and accidentally blinding yourself. I did, and it took 2 hours before everything stopped flashing before your eyes.

Very good! I really like the quick disconnect, and I am impressed by the low battery consumption. A set of batteries will last a good 10 times as long as they did with my old Sunpak flash.

3196 SEK at Media Markt during the Christmas sales. A bargain!

Had MK1 of 580EX before. This is MUCH better in quality. Battery Door, blixtfot, weather sealing. Functionally, they're about the same as.

It does not get any better than this. Size and price are the cons - everything else is world class.
