Really, really happy with this flash. Something simpler menus and construction than the SB-900 but for this money I'm very pleased.

My first real lightning, very satisfied so far.

Very good! Easy to use, works as both master and slave, great pictures indoors. Good loosening outdoors in strong sunlight. Mostly good buy!

Have tried it a little bit and come up with this ... + Easy to use as it is logically made. + Ability to speed sync. + Can be remotely operated with the built-in flash with TTL (Run the D90. And when you're indoors or similar, worse outdoors). + Many useful accessories included, 2 Color, Diffusion Dome, foot. The negative (however baubles!) - State between offremote is a bit tricky and may require two hands. - The button for the battery cover is a bit tricky until you learn ;)

Smooth and knowledgeable flash. There are not many who need an SB-900 at 700, is so powerful as it is. Only negative is that it really is as well built as the big brother, but for normal use, it does not matter. Fun and easy to remotely control the camera's built in flash, and the menu system is 47 times easier than the SB-800 ans.

Have not had an external flash before and have no further lightning habit. Using it on a Nikon D200. Have had it for two weeks and is so far very satisfied. In iTTL-mode, it is very easy to use. Pictures are great, thought that the running time would be longer. It is powerful and easy to adjust the strength. Highly recommended!

Excellent flash. First impression is that it is incredibly easy to get good pictures with. Chose this instead of sb-600 because: + Slave with my camera (d5000) via SU4 + Master Function + Smart bundled solution with color filters instead of Velcro and plastic pieces + Included diffuser + Smart & simple menu system
