I am super happy, has no coilwhine as previous people have mentioned. I have used my 1 year constant operation to my NAS with 6 disks. I charged the unit with about 100W, can of course depend on it too. That when one begins to overload arises coilwhine? Iallfall works excellent for my purposes. Can recommend!

I give this unit the same score as the 500W unit because it has the same problem with noise, even though it should be silent. The only reason to pay this much for a power supply is that it lacks the fan and to be silent. Unfortunately, Seasonic quality problems with its power supply so it sends out an annoying buzzing / rattling sound that comes and goes. Before this, I had a 400W heater, also from Seasonic, which I had to send back because of the buzzing noise. I build a silent PC that is completely passively cooled as a buzzing sound from the computer is only 5D M from me is not an option. Therefore, I give the unit the lowest rating, it does not live up to the claim that it should be silent. A humming noise coming and going is worse than a slight murmur from a large quiet fan at low speed. Now I await a third unit that should be 0dB, of course, there will not be a Seasonic. They will not enter my house again.

Is it more than I do here on PriceSpy with manufacturing error "Coil Whine"? I.e., it beeps constantly as tinnitus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5Jz09zn7fs Have got it replaced now by datorfixarna.com yet so had the new coil whine too. I have also tested the psu set on another computer, still coil whine. So I say just one thing - AVOID this PSU .. buy silverstone or something else instead.
