Went from a Ryzen 5 1500X to this which was a real upgrade. Despite similar clock frequencies (drove my 1500X in 3,975 GHz and run this at 4.1 GHz), it gave me a nice boost of FPS in CPU heavy games. For example. CS: GO on low settings in 1280x960 increased by over 30 FPS in FPS benchmark.
Unfortunately, I get too much Vdrop with my TUF B350M board, sometimes goes down from 1.38V in bios to between 1.35 and 1.36V at AVX load despite LLC which means I can not go higher than 4, 1 GHz if I want it stable in the Prime95 small FFT without going above 1.38 V which is recommended max voltage at 80 degrees C. This is, however, nothing to load the CPU for of course.
For around 1600 SEK this is a very affordable CPU!
