Fields near the top score, but I have no previous e-reader to compare with. Very comfortable to read in comparison with my big iPad. Very good resolution which delivers crisp text. And the background is actually paper suite at optimum conditions such as sunlight from a window. Bought from Amazon Marketplace. Had to remove the ads by chatting with Amazon's customer service who removed them without charge with their own reasoning that I had bought it in Sweden. Guess this has to do with many offerings are targeted at Americans. Kindle fits me as I read a lot of SF and fantasy in English. I buy books from Amazon I get directed to amazon.com. There, I loaded first home a lot of public domain free books but have since bought a lot too.

Have had it for 6 weeks now and am sick pleased with my white paper, bought at Amazon Marketplace. Readability is great, battery life is also always (for the second time today). Especially I was impressed when I sat out in the sun and read, just fine. An additional + to Amazon who was kind enough to remove all the ads on my device. Probably because I bought so many books over the years. Would recommend this highly, but try to buy it without the ads unless you are big customers of Amazon since you atleast can not take advantage of the offers displayed. Using caliber to read epub books, works perfectly.

My first e-reader, so I have nothing to compare to, but everything seems OK so far. What I can complain about is - That the pdf files I tested are not particularly reader-friendly - Black and white screen is no good if you read a book with color such as Cookbook - Lååååååångsam when scrolling, etc., but it is worth it because it saves battery - Can not read epub format that Swedish libraries embraced (use the program Calibre for conversion) I wonder why it has taken so long to bring the product to the people. Amazon is trying to create a hype by releasing fewer tiles than what is asked?

I have not had an e-ink display reader previously, but mainly read on my Nexus 7. It really is a better experience with a kindle. Reading is easy. The plate is small and light and with awesome battery life. I am very satisfied. Hat only tested a little outdoors, but it's already obvious what a good product it is summer and the sun bed :) Bought it in New York for 800 sec in total (with the ads). Amazon customer service took away ads for free at me when I did not live in the U.S..

Spent my a few days now and I like it a lot! Had previously a Kindle Wifi. It's like they read my mind with some things they changed in comparison with the Kindle Wifi. Battery life I can not comment on yet. Positive -Crisp and clear text, as well as reading on paper. They have removed the keyboard which I almost never used (now with touch instead so popping a software keyboard up just like in smartphones). This means that the plate has the same screen as the Kindle Wifi but is much less then you do not need the extra part with the keyboard. -Built-in backlight that can be adapted to the strength required. -Removed the physical browser buttons which in my opinion was not optimal (they're currently ahead by pressing anywhere on the 3/4 of the screen's right side and back with 1/4 of the screen's left side). The upper part of the screen, press to bring up the menu. -Synch to Amazon so that when I begin to read the books I read on my old Kindle do the new which side I was on. -Press and hold on a word you do not understand so hit the plate it up in the dictionary (I read English books, do not know if this works with Swedish? Probably not.) Negative -You can not turn off the lights completely, pull it down to the lowest position so light is still weak. Do not think it draws so much battery but think you should be able to fix it anyway. -The lighting is somewhat similar to "backlight bleeding" as it is called on screens and TVs in the lower part of the screen. Nothing that bothers much but thought it might be good to mention. Mine is also purchased from Bazula, it took about 2 weeks to get it home but the ship had written that long on their website so I knew about. Picked it smoothly at their warehouse because I live in Växjö :)
