Here’s what was presented at Apple's autumn event – the iPhone 13, the Watch Series 7 and new iPads
Finally, Apple has launched the new iPhone 13 series with four new mobile phones. The gadgets were presented during the big autumn event "California Streaming", where Apple also showed the new Watch Series 7 and two new iPads.
The iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13
With the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13, we get a new display that is 28 per cent brighter and with much better performance. Beneath the screen is the new Apple A15 Bionic processor and an improved Neural Engine circuit that pushes up the speed considerably compared to last year's models.
The cameras have also been improved. Both models use the same camera set as their predecessors with a 12-megapixel wide-angle and an ultra-wide-angle camera. Both cameras have improved camera sensors and new optics that captures more light and provide better colour reproduction than before.
What else do you think is new with the new models? How about a smaller display cutout for cameras and sensors, Cinematic Mode for smarter video recording, higher 5G speeds and longer battery life.
With the iPhone 13 you get up to 2.5 hours longer battery life and with the iPhone 13 mini it is up to 1.5 hours longer battery life than with its predecessors. Not bad!
The new iPhone 13 mini costs from £679 and the iPhone 13 from £779.

The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max
The flagship models the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max use the same basic hardware as the sibling models, the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13.
One of the big differences is a brand-new Super Retina XDR screen that supports up to 1,000 nits brightness and support for ProMotion. Finally, we can play on an iPhone with up to 120Hz just like with an iPad Pro.
The cameras have also been improved and Apple has designed a completely new camera system with new sensors and lenses. Just like last year's models, there is a telephoto lens, an ultra-wide angle and a wide angle. They have larger camera sensors and better optics that let in up to 92 per cent more light than before and increase the richness of detail.
This means you can take pictures and record better quality videos even in low light conditions. And the macro capabilities have also been significantly improved in the new models!
Other news is that Apple has included more features for professional video recording and editing. One such novelty is the ProRes format for videos coming later in the year.
And then we have the battery life. With the iPhone 13 Pro, you get up to 1.5 hours longer battery life than its predecessor the 12 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max can last up to 2.5 hours longer than the 12 Pro Max.
The new iPhone 13 Pro costs from £949 and the iPhone 13 Pro Max from £1,049.

All the new mobile phones, tablets and smartwatches from this year's event will be released with the new versions.

- iOS 15: iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, SE and later
- iPadOS 15: iPad Air 2, Air (Gen 3), iPad (Gen 5) mini 4 and later
- watchOS 8: Watch Series 3 and later
The new iPhone wallet with MagSafe supports the Find app
Apple has improved the official iPhone wallet with MagSafe. The new model finally supports the Find app, which means you can see the last reported location and find it using your mobile phone.
It’s unclear exactly how it works, but it can be as simple as that your phone notes the position the second the iPhone wallet is removed from the back of the phone.
The enhanced iPhone wallet doesn’t have the same functionality as an AirTag, so you cannot track it in the same way. If you want to be able to do that, there are excellent, standard wallets with a built-in AirTag holder as an option.
The price for the iPhone wallet with MagSafe is £59 at Apple.
