Prepare for school start

School will soon start again and with it many people will buy new clothes and things like shoes, laptops, headphones and bags. At PriceSpy there are tools to help you find the items you need, at the best price, so that you’ll have extra money you can spend on other things.

Monitor price
On each product page on PriceSpy there is a button that looks like a watch. Clicking on it will open a box where you can fill in your email address. When you fill in your email address, you will receive an email from us when the price of the gadget drops. If you want to adjust your alert and decide yourself on which price reduction you will receive an email for, you will need to create an account with us.

Another tip is to add an alert in good time before it's time to shop. In that way you can follow how the price develops. You can also include alerts on items that you often shop, such as makeup and skin care products. Some saved pennies on each purchase can develop into large sums in one year.

Check price history
Have you found an item you are interested in but would like to double check so you make a good purchase before you buy it? Then check the price history. Look for a red graph and click on it to see how the price of the product has evolved over time. Perhaps the product is cheaper according to the time of year? For example, if you’re after a robot lawnmower, the price of them is usually lower in August than in May.

Check out the price including shipping cost
Once you find a product you want to buy - do not forget to check what the shipping cost will be. Sometimes the cheapest shop is no longer the cheapest once you include shipping costs.

To find shipping costs, click on a product, then click on the small arrow next to the shop name. Then you will find more information and you'll find the shipping cost next to the symbol that looks like a truck. This applies to if you use PriceSpy on a mobile phone, if you use PriceSpy on a computer, cost including shipping is found as a separate column.
