Bought one just after the turn of the year 1999-2000. It is still always in my shoulder bag or pants pocket. Used almost daily. The only criticism I have is that the scissors are riveted and do not screw so it can not be tight when it has now become a little glappig. The spring for the scissors have a tendency to jump out of position too.

Had this since it was released, I would think - for over a decade. Has the green edition, incredibly delicious, transparent design helps give the tool a "Cyber" feel. :) By far my favorite tool! It has been with me everywhere - built many computers, fudging with high voltage, taken apart so that might not been intended to be removably, has also kept up with the lab in the recent past. Indispensable. The tools are still in really good shape, has certainly dropped fifties times but the plastic has not cracked, scratch marks have been added, but it must be expected with such a dear tools. Victorinoxlogon is still intact, of course ... Only the toothpick has been lost, hehe. The tiny screwdriver stored in the corkscrew has been used much but has done well. The thing that probably took the biggest beating is the smallest Torx bit, but also it can be used. (Parts available for purchase on eBay, among others.) The only negatives I can think of: - Is that the springs used in scissors and forceps went off after a few years, have started to think about replacing these to give the tool a little better feel, but may perhaps think that these should have kept a little better, Leatherman has neater solution to this . - The entire tool stuck together with rivets instead of any other way. So, unfortunately enough to deduct a star for "repairability". If you count on what the cost will not be many pennies each time it was used.

I've had the knife for 2 years now and it has only now begun to be blunt, but after being cut up with a diamond whetstone from Clas Ohlsson is again sharp. This is a perfect knife for most who work in the city, it has everything you need, two knife blades (large and small), bitskruvmejsel with 4 double-ended bits in a very practical förvaringsarm (4 double-bits gives you 8 possible bits, 3 torx, 3 check, one hex key and one flat chisel (there are two other flat chisels too)), can opener, bottle opener, corkscrew, bläckbänna, mini screwdriver (ideal for glasögonreparatrioner), hook that provides an excellent grip for heavy packages with string around, a sharp forceps and much more. This knife is recommended HOT, and has helped me many times in the two years I've owned it. It is well worth the 600 SEK it costs.
