I did a thorough search on CompAdvance Ltd before I purchased from them.
All seemed OK.
I was very pleased with the swift and efficient handling of my order but was most impressed by the "above and beyond" level of customer service.
Kyle got in touch to inform me if I was planning to use the monitor and pc together I would need an additional lead which they hadn't got in stock.I ordered one which arrived on the same day as my order.
So no delay in the use of my new gear.

Bought a HP all in one touch screen PC. saved £150 compared to Currys price. came as brand new and i am more than pleased with my purchase.

I didn't have cause to call Compadvance so I can't comment in that respect but overall I was very happy.
I bought at very good price a PC «HP Pavilion 550-179na», renew PC, on 06–01–2017 from the shop «Comp – Advance Ltd».
It was just that I ordered and I received it the day it was planned (13–01–2017).
It was very well-packaged with all components and delivered to me, here in Athens – Greece (miles away), in excellent condition.

I purchased a HP Renew PC in December 2016. It was dispatched and delivered very quickly, and the PC was well-packaged.

In my case Comp Advance sent the wrong part number item to me. However it was a superior item to the one I purchased, so I decided to keep it. I needed a new invoice for the item to match what was actually sent. Comp Advance was quick to correct the problem and issue the correct invoice. Good service. The end result was that I have a far superior item for the same amount of cash.
Bought a opened Rog Swift Monitor already opened. Package arrived safe and on time. Slight little backlight bleed but not that much to worry about. Response to questions was prompt and informative.
I've bought a refurbished hp spectre notebook and it so far appears as good as new. I had my fears (must admit) that something could be wrong, but fortunately all was fine. Computer looked untouched, even though the packing was not top notch (large, ugly hp cardboard box that could accommodate 3-4 notebooks.
Minus one star = Since it went out of EU, I was hoping that VAT would be deducted or at least hidden from the invoice so I don't pay import tax and local VAT upon UK VAT. The invoice was altered in a way to show UK VAT as additional shipping cost, but it didn't help since shipping is included in total taxable cost.
Minus second star = I've asked for an AC plug that would work in continental Europe. Instead I've got alternative (but stil original hp charger) that is not as portable or as beautiful as the one that originally goes with this product. Had I known it would be the case, I would have preferred the other one even with the U.K. plug (and would have used the converter instead).
The bottom line is, the seller deserves respect for good communication, fast shipment and quality product. Would recommend them to a friend!
Purchased new printer at excellent value, discounted due to damaged box it came in. Easy to do, fast delivery, product new and in excellent condition. So hassle free, no complaints
I saw what looked like a very good price for a graphics card on this PriceSpy. There website showed 2 in stock and I placed an order. After placing my order the website showed 1 in stock and I received confirmation that my order had been accepted. I know the website continued to show 1 in stock for a least a day after my order as I showed a colleague at work but soon after it went ‘out of stock’.
After 4 days when I had not received notification that my order had been dispatched so I sent them a message via their website. They did responded quickly but only to tell me that my graphic card was no longer available and that my order would be cancelled. They hadn't charged my credit card so no problems there.
I'm not sure if they ever had these graphic cards at what appeared to be a very good price or it is just a way to get people to go to their website.

This stock list is for these items is usually updated every 24 hours Mon-Fri. All other stock in our inventory is updated dynamically. Our clearance items are listed on various platforms with competitive pricing that can result in some products being in high demand. For such items, situations may arise where orders might be placed but not yet paid, so it would still appear the next day on our stock when already reserved awaiting payment. I hope this clarifies the issue you faced. You would also be able to find out further details regarding stock by contacting us directly.
As soon as an order has been processed by our system it is marked as to be packed and is normally shipped out that day. The customer will also receive notifications at all stages of this process. If a customer has any questions about their order, or any of our items, we aim to respond within 24 Hours but are usually much quicker.
I also had a bad experience with this company following purchase of a motherboard.
As with the other review the product had been opened and on inspection minor damage was identified to socket.
When raising this issues and asking for a refund it was alledged that the damage was done whilst in my possession, which was not the case at all.
Photographs of an undamaged board were produced by the company who almost seemed ready for this which makes me believe they were already aware the board was damaged which was reflected in the price. Either that or they have staff who damage them. I suggest you avoid at all cost as I'm £70 down already.

The motherboard you purchased was listed with an opened box. For these items, we manually inspect the product to ensure there are no defects and that the item works as new. With all these items we clearly state the condition of the item and list all accessories that come inside the box. This allows the customer to have a clear understanding of the item they are about to order. These items are carefully placed into storage and are shipped out in the exact same condition. We have since updated our system to allow photos taken of a device to be displayed on our website.
We cannot take full responsibility for what may happen to the product once it has been dispatched from our premises, but we will always do what we can to resolve any issues regarding any faulty items. If an item arrives damaged, in any way, we will always look to provide the customer with a refund or replacement.
Just received my motherboard today in the post, first thing I noticed was that the box had no original seal of any kind. I decided to open the box and check it's contents.
All accessories were accounted for but I noticed that the packaging on the enclosed I/O shield plate was already opened. When I unpacked the motherboard I noticed that the protective cover for the cpu socket was NOT IN PLACE but rather included in the accessories. If you know about computers you will know just how bad this is.
Upon inspection of the socket itself it became apparent that one of the pins was bent, because of time restraints I decided to repair this myself rather than go through the process of trying to send it back and getting a replacement.
Shipping was on time but I paid for a USED and DAMAGED product. I will stay away from this company in the future.

Product is complete and tested, with no visible flaws. Such a products are taken from the box and its original packaging/wrapping protective film fore testing purposes and comming with essential accesories only.
