Best deon for me, completely without aluminum chloride.

Came from a pair of QC II and these are better at noise reduction, more comfortable and fit better on the head. Gave away my QC II :)

Almost next to dream glasses. A bit strong vignetting on 16-20 with f / 2.8 but sharpness. Sky in the sea. Not as heavy as I feared, made in the new plastic material like the other L-windows since a few years back. Will have to get rid of my 24-70 II f / 2.8 as I don't need that focal length after I bought this one. Intended to buy version II of this but have read fairly negative reviews and version III has eliminated many of these draw backs. Think lens f / 4 but with extra everything. May lack IS, but has no frame of reference for it on ultra wide. 20-cardboard is very dolerose, but I get what I pay for. Before buying check out so vignetting is not disturbing (down to 4 stop vignetting) before you cut.

Optically stunning. Weight and size, not so. But it costs so. Have only had f / 2.8 without IS before. Satisfied with everything that has to do with the optical, and the build quality. But asa around one and a half pounds plus camera body is struggling.

Can only compare with Canon EOS 5D mk II More of everything. Very good low light performance and perpetual settings. Weatherproof, though heavy (had forgotten how heavy fullformat is) and together with some L-optics, this is a keeper. Do not film it so I'll leave it there, but I'll find reviews online if you're interested in it.

M e g u t sharply on the full opening. This is an optimal low light lens. Perfect for concerts and yes ... everywhere in which the light is usually not enough. Combined with fast AF and in addition, IS (up to four steps claiming Canon) makes it by far the best * lens in the Canon L family. Easier, sharper and faster AF than 1.2 version. A slight CA in high contrast situations (which is a click away to correct in editing) and that it's quite heavy is the only thing I find that possibly draws the score from the full pot. Looking for a portrait, concert, event or street photo lens, is no competition if you shoot with Canon. Full-format is the only thing I tested, but it's hard to imagine it's something worse with the crop sensor. I have not tried to film with it yet. There are some reviews online. * That is quite subjective of course.

Perfect for portrait. Have not taken any macro with it more than tested a little half-hearted but as a portrait it's very good. Draws sharp like attic and quite fast auto focus. L-quality and good price. IS is very helpful with this focal length handheld.

Good all around lens. Tried a few weeks with my 5D mk IV and am satisfied. This will probably be 75% of the time. + Good range on Full format + Weatherproof + Sharp + Quickly + Good building quality - The weight - Expanding at zoom - Missing IS - Expensive - Vignetting at full opening and at 24mm.

Have the TV a couple of days. Is very satisfied. Have not seen or noticed any artifacts or anything that is rewritten in the home theater. Then I do not starve on grayscale for hours to analyze either of course. Watched some Dolby Vision (with Dolby Atmos audio on the LG SJ9 Soundbar) on Netflix and it was a cool experience. So this is the future. Regular low-resolution broadcasts are no more than ok, but 720p, 1080p and up are a delight. If you, like me, have a TV in a cold night room in the evenings / nights, it's a good cool side effect to close the TV box / Tivo and the like, so you do not know the TV is on. I needed to double-check that the TV's LED was red, so it could be easy to miss. Will be undoubtedly an oled next time too.
