They changed it from an old Buffalo NAS who had trouble with your network connection, and periodic drop-outs. Bought this, pulled out the old disks from the buffalo and put into Synologyn - 10 minutes later was installed and ready for use. Has driven it about an hour now, and moved a lot of music, and it just feeds on. Good speed against another NAS and above all - the convenient interface.

I picked it up on a stock clearance so I paid less than the review here below (or if it comes above?) I would say this absolutely perfect for my needs. AirPlay, DLNA, WiFi connectivity, Ethernet, etc. Furthermore, you can have it via USB to your computer and play the sound on the road (although DSD if you want). The only thing I would have wished would be an optical input, but in the current situation I do not see the need. Control via the app, or via touch buttons on the top of it. The sound then? Well, it bought the gamble, and surreptitiously plugged it because it is a gift - but I think it plays smoothly. I think that it provides sufficient pressure, and above all it can reproduce even more finely tuned media properly. A Marshall Stanmore play fläskigt on any kind of music - and if that's what you want then it is a Stanmore to wear. Edit - now after having unpacked it for real and driven some Christmas songs yesterday (Mariah Carey, Carol, Josh Groban, etc.) then I am super happy. The games can be finely tuned, and when the set is needed so bash it properly. Stanmore is a good buy, not least because you can find it on sale for 2kkr, but I still think Sonyn is preferable.

Bought it for the same price as 2 * 4TB disks +200: -. In other words, you get the NAS to boot. Raid 0 and 1. There are two things I would have liked in it - partly to run the backup to other computers than just Buffalo NAS true one time setting, ie that it should be turned on / off at certain times.

For the money ok. It's not as polished or smooth interface that Synology DSM. But for the more than one thousand kronor it comes to the shell, it is quite ok.

Was not very impressed right away when I got home with them - thought "Huh - I've paid xyz for them, and do not hear much of a difference to my old cans? '. Luckily sneaks impressions after a few slices .... Discovered by any night that I sat and listened to the whole disc rather than jumping between. I sat and hummed along to various artists and in particular it did not feel like I needed to lower the volume all the time ... :) Very, very happy with them. The drive with Linn's own amplifier sits like a glove, but I'm curious about bi-amping them, or eventually go active (although it might be more sensible to upgrade the source). However, I can not say if they are better or worse than other speakers in the same price range, but for me it was a big boost compared to before.

Terrible good kids. Sometimes I miss a little physical pressure from them but it's probably best that I do not have a dedicated headphone amplifier.
