Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm Classic Edition

I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review. The Huawei Watch GT2 is the second smartwatch that I have owned, and will be the only smartwatch on my wrist for a long time. Upon unboxing the Huawei Watch GT2, you are greeted with a very well presented box where the watch takes pride and place. My biggest gripe with many smartwatches is that they look far too unnatural compared to a non smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT2 looks very much like a normal designer watch at first glance, it's not too big and the brown leather strap makes it look classy. When you turn the watch on the first thing you notice is how good the screen is, it's bright and vivid and easy to read even in bright sunlight. To pair the watch to your phone and set it up you have to download the Huawei Health app, this is very straightforward and after following the instructions I had the watch set up and ready to go in a matter of minutes. The Huawei Watch GT2 is fairly limited in its functionality compared to some other smartwatches, this is a positive for me because I am not the sort of person that likes all the bells and whistles on a smartwatch. Its main strengths are fitness and health tracking and notification alerts. The watch can also be used to take phone calls and track your sleep patterns. The Huawei Watch GT2 is an excellent fitness companion as I have discovered when going about my daily life, it tracks all your steps and can be used to monitor workouts and sports activities. All the information from the watch is synced to the Huawei Health app on your phone where you can set yourself targets and monitor all your exercises in an easy to understand layout. One of the biggest advantages of having limited functionality is battery life. The battery life on the Huawei Watch GT2 is phenomenal. I have been using the watch for nearly a month now and I have only charged the watch twice in that time. Battery life can be reduced if you use the always on display option but even then you can easily get a week's use between charges, this was a welcome change for me after previously having a smartwatch which had to be charged every single night. So to conclude, if you are after a stylish smartwatch that is a great fitness companion with fantastic battery life, then the Huawei Watch GT2 would be a great purchase. However, if you are after a smartwatch with a bit more functionality, it might be worth looking elsewhere.

Having never used a 360 camera before I was excited to receive my Samsung Gear 360. I had seen this product advertised and knew what the premise was but I was a tad sceptical about how much I would use the product. When unboxing the product you will notice how small the camera is, however when you hold the camera you will also realise just how reassuringly weighty and sturdy it feels. The camera is water and dust resistant and has a standard tripod screw on the base so you can use an optional tripod if you wish. You can use the camera to take photos or record video up to 4k quality. You don't need to pair the camera to a smartphone to use but if you download the Gear 360 app then you can see your viewfinder on your phone screen in real time. The app is also where you can see the photos and videos you have taken without connecting the camera to a PC or laptop. To take full advantage of the 360 degree photos and videos that this thing captures, it's best to view them using a VR headset so you can immerse yourself in what has been captured. Unfortunately this is where I was most disappointed in the product as when viewed in VR mode you discover how poor quality some of the photos and videos are, especially in darker environments. This is a shame as Samsung promotes and encourages this item to be used with a VR headset. Finally I have to admit that in the few weeks that I have owned the Samsung Gear 360 I haven't found myself wanting to use it all that often. I think it would be great to use if you're a regular traveller and want to take landscape photos that are a bit different, but for me I just found that it was an extra thing to carry when out and about and I found it more convenient to just use the camera on my phone. It's a shame but I do think it's a bit of a gimmick. Having said that if you're specifically after a 360 camera then this is good at what it does, just be confident that you'll use it as it's not all that cheap

I have read about Virtual Reality products in the past and I have always been a bit sceptical about the idea if i'm honest. I thought it just seemed like a gimmick that wouldn't be successful like 3D TV's a few years ago. When I had the chance to try out the Samsung Gear VR I thought now was my chance to see if I was right or wrong about VR. The first thing you notice when unboxing the Gear VR is how well made and sturdy it feels, and once you start wearing it you will be surprised that despite it being quite heavy it is rather comfortable. It has an adjustable strap and a remote which you use to control your VR world. The first thing you need to do is download the Samsung VR app on your phone, then you just place your phone in the holder of the headset and you're good to go. If you're like me and haven't experienced VR before it can seem a little weird at first, but when you realise the vast array of VR content that's available you soon discover how much fun it can be. Whether you want to play VR games, watch movies or browse the web there's plenty on offer. I especially liked the Netflix option which makes you feel like you're in a cinema watching the film. I would recommend using headphones for that truly immersive experience. I have had several hours of use out of the Samsung Gear VR and have had friends and family use it and everyone is blown away at how good this thing is. It's comfortable, has a vast array of content and is truly immersive. If you are looking for a VR headset I would have no hesitation in recommending the Samsung Gear VR

I have been using the Karcher FC5 Hard Floor Cleaner for a few weeks now so I feel I can now review the product more extensively. The first thing you will notice when unboxing the Karcher FC5 is just how well made it feels, it's not the cheap feeling plastic you usually have on these type of appliances. I mentioned previously that when reading the user manual it can feel like the product will be a bit of a faff to use, however I'm pleased to report that this is not the case after using the appliance a couple of times. It is as simple as pouring clean water (and detergent if you fancy) into the tank and away you go. The great thing about the Karcher FC5 is that it is a 2 in 1 machine that vacuums and mops the floor at the same time. I have found since using this machine that the time it takes to clean my hard floors has dramatically reduced which is a massive bonus if you're short for time or just want to spend less of your free time cleaning. The machine works by using 2 soft rollers that spin once switched on, a benefit of this is that it is an easy machine to manoeuvre as the rollers propel it forward. I would say that on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being the hardest, it is probably a 4 in terms of how easy it is to manoeuvre the machine. The rollers are also very effective at removing debris and grime from the floors, I have illustrated this with a before and after photo of a tissue test I performed. The Karcher FC5 boasts that after cleaning with the machine your floors will be dry within 2 minutes. Whilst I haven't actually timed how long it takes for the floors to dry, it certainly takes much less time than my steam mop did. Once you have finished cleaning the floors all that is needed is to empty the dirty water tank at the rear of the machine. This just clips off with ease and can be poured down the drain and then clipped back on. Regarding maintenance, the rollers just slide off and can be machine or hand washed or you can also pour a small amount of water into the docking station and spin the rollers for a few seconds to clean them. I hope I have covered the important points of the Karcher FC5 and that you will be a little clearer on the features and benefits of the machine. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants to save time on cleaning their hard floors.
