Intelligent dirt detection
Through a combination of LiDAR, an AI camera and green laser light the robot sees dirt that the eye often misses. It analyses the surface and automatically adjusts suction and mopping where it is needed most.
Wipes with clean water
A rotating microfiber roll actively scrubs the floor while dirty water is sucked into a separate tank. The robot identifies stains and repeats passes automatically until the dirt is gone, preventing the dirt from merely being moved around.
The power under the bonnet – a new standard
With a suction power of 18,000 Pa the Spot+Scrub Ai is a powerful robot vacuum. The robot is fully autonomous: it maximises suction on carpets and automatically lifts the mop 20 mm to protect fabrics.
There are robot vacuums at all price points, and the simpler older models often sit below 10,000 Pa. 18,000 Pa is therefore high for a robot vacuum, but likely something we can expect to see on more models going forward.
A docking station that gets the job done
The docking station handles much of the maintenance automatically. Here the dustbin is emptied, and the wet roll is cleaned after use. The system is designed to minimise the need for manual cleaning and keep the machine fresh between cleaning sessions.
