When everywhere
The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro uses a new technology called RetractSense. This means the small tower on top retracts into the robot , because the laser sensor can fold down into the chassis. When the robot detects a low area, like under a sofa, the laser goes down. That makes the robot only 7.98 cm tall.
When the laser is retracted the Pro model uses a special camera for navigation. The camera has a wide field of view and sees obstacles in the way.
The robot is also powerful with a suction of 25,000 Pa. To handle hair the robot uses DuoDivide. There are two brushes that work together to avoid clogging.
Smart mobility
The Pro model uses the AdaptiLift system to move freely. The robot raises its whole body when it encounters an obstacle. It climbs over thresholds that are 4 cm high.
When the robot reaches a corner it extends a small arm. A side brush then sweeps right into the edge. The same happens with the mops when the robot cleans along a wall.
The charging station for the Pro model is efficient. It washes the mops with 80-degree hot water. The hot water dissolves grease from the kitchen floor and kills bacteria. After washing the station dries the mops with warm air.
Intelligence that understands your home
The robot uses a smart camera to recognise objects. It can tell the difference between cables, shoes and toys. It also knows if a stain on the floor is dry or wet. If the stain is wet the robot lifts its brushes and uses only the mop. This prevents dirt from being spread around the room.
You control the robot easily with your voice. Say 'Hello Rocky' to ask it to tidy the kitchen or under the table. The built-in assistant understands commands even if your Wi-Fi has stopped working.
