Bought to replace an old NAD amplifier so I "knew" that I would be dissatisfied ... ... but I didn't. Not at all. Not at all. Not in hell! This one plays skitbra and has an upper middle register which I obviously missed during my 23 years with NAD's products. For the money, it's the best I have heard. Warm and good sound, slightly more neutral than NAD but still a little buttery. That a hifi-mop on youtube ran this in pairs with a 6006a for a long time and not heard a sigh of difference between the two is just perfectly excellent after all. You must have DAC externally anyway! : D Amplifier? Buy it here. It's good!
