The sound is well suited for gaming, but if I want to play more than one hour at a time then you should not buy these headphones. The press as hell around my ears and I get a headache after just over an hour with them (not chronic headaches but a discomfort at least). I have stretched out these for a month around a cardboard but it helps barely.

The sound is absolutely fine! But the mike is not the best .. And it becomes very lousy after a while!

The sound is good but overall felvägt / felkalibrerat (a weird curve with peak at mid range, very low base and relatively low treble, music sounds a little "tinny") but these headphones are so clearly not for music but for gaming and it works the excellent. Where is this type of curve better for eg running boards and the like. Equalizer settings can improve on the whole but it is the wrong tool for the job simply, these kids are only for gaming and voice. The fit is wonderful but I feel that I would be able to compress the headphones a step further, you have a small head, they may be too big for you. Soundproofing both outwardly and inwardly is superb, it can get a bit sweaty around the ears but apart from that they are incredibly comfortable both over the head and around the ears. A nice detail is that the cups can be rotated 90 degrees so that you can lay them flat on the table, even a feature which is ideal if you would get the idea to use them as DJ headphones. The point where these kids really shines is the microphone, Mr. motherfuckers what quality. Have never owned a better microphone, it picks up the sound from your mouth and only the mouth despite (relatively) messy background and this is nothing tinny phone sound - it sounds like you sound. The cord is long and spins a little strange but it is sleevad and has volume control with microphone on / off. Personally I would have liked a cord without checks, and now controls still be there, they should sit not sit on the wrong way as they do now (to turn up the volume, turn the sound down, the idea is surely to be correct when you keep up the check in front of you and look at it but what gamer looks at the controls?!). Since I only had the headphones for a week, I can not say anything about the appeal lies in the long term quality, but they feel very solid and Corsair has as usual not on hold again at some point. Nothing creaks or flexes when pressure or anything like that. What is holding back the final point of my case, the polarity control panel, a bit too big arcs and that the "memory foamet" (the material around the ears) should let your ears breathe liiiite anyway. If I ignore the price it would have been 8/10 but for 600 bucks? 9/10 without a doubt.

They sound really good, but I can not decide if it's top quality in sound or just ok with my ears .. Has nothing to compare to other than my previous cheap Plantronics. Everything feels solid and sturdy, and a plus for the sleeved cable that hopefully is more durable than the usual cables that usually sit on 3.5mm connectors. The cable is quite long too, approx. 3m .. well, I think! Because there is so much material so they can probably feel a little heavy, but it does not bother me. The cups fit my ears and I have not had the discomfort of them yet .. run a 2h at a stretch as far. Ambient sounds shielded very well .. It could be a drawback for some maybe? The only thing I can complain about so far is the base that lacks that extra depth, it sounds a bit tame. And I'm not someone who thinks bass is the most important of all, however, I think the base is "thin".

Very nice headset, beautiful and comfortable. Turns out sounds around good. Do not run on integrated sound only, a big difference with a decent sound card. Then let the really good to be a headset.
