Now my 77 inch CX is finally on the wall. Sits 3-4 meters from the panel and the distance is perfect for the size. Before I got my TV, I was afraid that the picture would be too big. But there I was wrong. Could have 85 inches even without it feeling too big. At least for 4K material. With 1080p, shortcomings in the image source are noticeable the more you get up in size. I have always wanted a bigger screen and Oled CX suits me for what I will use it for What are the game consoles of the future and a lot of 4K material with HDR / Dolby Vision in a dark room. There is nothing that beats in a dark room. What I notice immediately is that compared to my older E6 that the HDR / Dolby Vision modes are better straight out of the box and do not need as much changes in settings as the E6. The CX also handles dark details better than the E6. Streamed 4K HDR equipment looks fantastic. Much better than E6 here. Both from the TV's internal apps and Apple TV4K. The TV generally has better HDR / Dolby Vision than the E6. Do not know if it also has to do with the size but more overwhelming image at bright and contrast-rich scenes and simply incomparably good image. But will not use LG's built-in apps as I think Apple TV is unbeatable. The app I will use in the TV is Youtube where I can watch wonderful 4K demos with DV and HDR. Here the TV really shows the muscles and what a fantastic picture with good material I can achieve. Especially in a dark room. Run some reference UHD disks from my Oppo UDP-203 directly into the TV's HDMI connector. I sent the sound separately to my Yamaha amplifier. Among other well-known reference discs regarding image such as Blade Runner 2049, Transformers Last Knight, Gemini Man (60hz), Lucy and Pacific Rim. Incredibly good picture directly with the presets that are ready for DV and HDR in the panel. Compared to my previous 4K screens, I think the punch and contrast in the picture is better than ever on my previous screens. The only negative; If you buy this TV, a good soundbar or a home cinema system is a must for the sound is no further in the built-in speakers. But nothing that bothers me as I have a 5.2.4 atmos system. Now I have had the TV for a couple of weeks and test driven it a lot during the Christmas holidays. Got home both PS5 and Xbox Series X. My impression of playing with, for example, Gears 5 multiplayer 120hz 4K / HDR is incomparably cruel. You immediately notice a stronger and clockier interface. The picture is full of contrasts and colors and sharper than ever and above all the game flows so incredibly well, immediately notices a huge difference from my Xbox X. This of course also applies to Playstation 5 where I played through the entire campaign on Spider Man Miles Morales which is incredible beautifully on the panel. Oh oh .. what a fantastic CX is with the new game consoles. But "pulled" into play due to the cruel handling. Very happy with the purchase. Recommend this product.
