This is the camera GoPro should have done three years ago. Hero2 made me tired - bad noise, clumsy shell, difficult to lift files from camera to editing and hopeless interface to make settings. Now GoPro has got everything done, just sorry that the company is going bankrupt after failing Karma Drone and a Hero5 that leaked water.
Hero7 has electronic image stabilization, even in 4K, which is absolutely incredible - no gimbal / gyro handles are needed. 200fps slowmo in some formats. Tochscreen. WiFi uploads directly to a cloud service for monthly fee or sync to the mobile phone. Editing with the Quick app that uses image analysis to auto-assemble movies. Voice control, but not in Swedish, to start / stop recording and take pictures. TimeWarp creates timelaps movies with ... completely unreal soft ripples directly in the camera. The GoPro app has preview of WiFi - you can remotely control Hero7 and make all settings there. Live Stream Over WiFi To Facebook Or Other Streaming Services - Needs No Mobile. ProTune mode with manual control over shutter, white balance, sharpness, color space, ISO
It is difficult that 4K video is recorded in the HEVC format, and the mobile man syncs must have support for H.265 / HEVC video, not the established H.264 standard. Otherwise, you can connect Hero7 over USB to PC and edit it. Other formats (1080/720) are recorded with H.264. Battery life is not completely impressive - Thinking of a charging dock with extra batteries.
