All these cameras hero 5-7 black mm. Standing waterproof to 10 m. Keep in mind that the warranty does not apply to water damage. And it can withstand fresh water. If you want it in salt water you have to rinse it in fresh water if it is not paja. The daughter had one she used in the sea and it stopped working. Do not take charge and turn off after 3 sec when turning it on. So you can't make any resets or anything else. Do not go on updating or else as it is only running for 3 seconds at a time. Go pro wanted it in return to offer 20% on a new one. But when you can buy these cheaper on the web than 20% on their regular, that's not much worth it. The cameras are otherwise nice and good formats. But as others say, buy a UV house if you intend to have it in water.

I have just tested the camera indoors so keep that in mind as I think it is just indoors that the camera gets it a little harder to keep top quality in the picture / film. I compared the video quality to my two-year-old samsung galaxy s7 and even though I experience the GoPron as sharper, I find that there were more disturbances and junk in the picture that was especially evident at a cropped and zoomed-in image. The digital image stabilization works really well, even better than many optical variants. There is no gimbal, but not too long from it. I made a longer video where I test GoPron at a number of different settings compared to the galaxyn. The video is here if anyone is interested in such a comparison: https://youtu.be/5LYrPFFF1ZQ

This is the camera GoPro should have done three years ago. Hero2 made me tired - bad noise, clumsy shell, difficult to lift files from camera to editing and hopeless interface to make settings. Now GoPro has got everything done, just sorry that the company is going bankrupt after failing Karma Drone and a Hero5 that leaked water. Hero7 has electronic image stabilization, even in 4K, which is absolutely incredible - no gimbal / gyro handles are needed. 200fps slowmo in some formats. Tochscreen. WiFi uploads directly to a cloud service for monthly fee or sync to the mobile phone. Editing with the Quick app that uses image analysis to auto-assemble movies. Voice control, but not in Swedish, to start / stop recording and take pictures. TimeWarp creates timelaps movies with ... completely unreal soft ripples directly in the camera. The GoPro app has preview of WiFi - you can remotely control Hero7 and make all settings there. Live Stream Over WiFi To Facebook Or Other Streaming Services - Needs No Mobile. ProTune mode with manual control over shutter, white balance, sharpness, color space, ISO It is difficult that 4K video is recorded in the HEVC format, and the mobile man syncs must have support for H.265 / HEVC video, not the established H.264 standard. Otherwise, you can connect Hero7 over USB to PC and edit it. Other formats (1080/720) are recorded with H.264. Battery life is not completely impressive - Thinking of a charging dock with extra batteries.

The Hypersmooth feature (though not in the highest resolution) makes film surprisingly stable, becoming superfluous with motorized stabilization camera frames. The best GoPro ever made! Accessories included should be underwater housing for diving (30 meters) The camera itself is waterproof only down to 10 meters.
