Crossfire was not thinking about until AMD released Catalyst 13.8 Beta in August 2013. With this driver is Battlefield 3 is finally playable with two cards. Have had more problems with my 7970 (both Crossfire and when I only had one) than I would expect for 6500 SEK, so unfortunately I have to deduct stars for it. Playing in 2560x1440 @ 110 Hz. Most likely, the DVI cable that can not handle higher bandwidth, so I can not guarantee that the card can handle 120 Hz at that resolution.

Wonderful graphics that really can handle almost anything. Run most games at maxed settings except for Battlefield third

The first card I got was defective and blew both my and Support Service motherboard. Other card I received was better. More stable in BF3 than my old 580. Good performance with new drivers. Flickers from time to time in the bottom of the screen but this is supposed to be software then it almost disappeared after the latest drivers. Nothing coilwhine on my ex and generally think the card is quiet LHW in idle which for me is important. Klockar easy to 1200MHz with TRIXXmjukvaran from Sapphire. -1 For the first card was defective and -1 because it is in the most expensive team.

Cannon Performance and easily overclock 20%. The only minus is the high noise level of the fans and coil whine at high load. Performance 10th Silence 4th

Upgraded from two GTX 460 SLI and HD 7970 dominates both the GTX 460or I had. Temperature at max load does not go over 71C (75 at 1.1GHz OC), 32C in IDL. 3GB capacity allows all games can run on very high resolutions as well as the other high frequencies and bandwidth which makes it maxes out games like BF3. With PCI-E 3.0 and 1.1 1920x1080p I get 40fps as minumum (only when running online on Back to Karkand), Max is above 200 and Avg. fps is around 70-80fps (can be 10-15fps less when running online, depending on the map). Consumes less power than the GTX 580 and is 20-40% better. The price is very affordable. 10/10

ordered this card from Alina system Sunday and got home today around 15:00 time (Tuesday). very good and fast delivery from Alina and it was a well packed package with a small bag of candy: P. so a round of applause for that? card I tested now for some hours seem to work really well, my first impression was that it performed worse than expectation but you may not require the card to keep 60 fps at ultra settings in BF3. atleast low fpsen around 40-60 with ultra settings. then pulled down shadow quallity to medium because shadows require a lot. Now is fpsen steady around 60 and gameplay is really good! have not tested so many other games yet just wow and it maxes it without breaking a sweat! even in big cities like Stormwind float it on .. recommend this card to those who want more than a standard card!
