I've had my Canon iP4700 for about 2 years now. I've been super happy with it. I've used it a lot to just print photos I have taken myself. Above my expectations in terms of quality of the photos, sharp and nice colors. I've also used it to print a few documents, which it has fixed splendidly. What I have not liked about it is that when you print a lot of photos so take color very soon end, and it's not particularly cheap with ink cartridges. Had also been icing on the cake et if it had a scanner, but you can not have everything. Otherwise a really good printer for a little money.

For the price, I think it works great! have printed both the cover and have printed directly onto discs, clear as a bell!

Prints photo-quality images and regular documents without concern for me. If you look really closely at the photo prints you may see an occasional line with small dots. Do not know if that's common among printers in general. If you're looking for a fast printer you will probably look further for rapid, it is not. The black glossy surface looks very nice, but the printer itself is quite plasticky. The cartridges are easy to replace and also opposite light that glows red to confirm that they are secure. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Had a canon MP630 which I was really happy with before. However it went down, and I decided to add a little less money on a printer but still a canon when I had left cartridges will even fit in the iP4700. What a failure, from always having been satisfied, with perfect and fast printing I swear loud now every time I want to print. Photo prints look like crap, it leaks ink and some prints to smear (with Canon original cartridges). The Canon MP 630, I could run both the pelican and cheaper cartridges without problems while this printer constantly malfunctioning and for each print, the printer must be restarted because of errors. Pure crap, I think, and you get very much more for your money if you bet on a MP630 or similar. I'll throw mine and buy a new one.

Works perfect. Using it as both network printers and photo printers. First very dark photo had a little lag but the following 10st have not had any problems. Really great colors! It did not follow with some usb cable which huh pretty lousy.

Ok just a job so far. But it met my requirements. 'll See how it works in the long run. If the ink dries or what happens. Will maybe update the score.
