Very happy. Has 2 and it covers the need throughout the house. Considering a new one for better coverage in the basement.

Has this AP and also the bit variant in the same network. It has worked great until recently when Ubiquiti chose to do an automatic upgrade of control software and firmware. Now all of a sudden my chromecast devices can't connect to wifi. Has been sitting for hours and downgraded firmware to older variants with endless reboots to make everything work again. Just noticed that one of the APs has been updated again to the latest version - even though auto updates are rejected. I HATE when companies want to remotely control my home technology against my will. DO NOT recommend buying products from Ubiquiti.

Have had it for several years and am just as happy as today. Covers a villa of a total of 150 sqm spread over three floors and most of the garden with a single AP. Works everywhere, but of course gives slightly worse speeds when you are far from it. Will probably expand with another one. In my TV sofa, 5 meters from the AP, I just measured 290 Mbit down and 320 Mbit up (iPhone SE, Telia 250 Mbit). Clearly approved!

Works clockwise. Run a controller on a virtual machine. Very nice with VLAN support, run a management VLAN and a VLAN for each SSID. Have so far only one, but are considering expanding with more. As others have pointed out, there is no exotic standard for POE, but an inline adapter is included. Not so good, but it is in the boiler room.

Best brand on the market! This scares all of its competitors without direct combat!

Had thought of buying the simpler version but the store seller persuaded me to take this instead. I started following an instruction online where you could easily connect with the app in iPhone, this was quite impossible, never found the device. Finally I connected with my computer and network cable in the router, loaded with the software and flip it was running in no time. We have 250/250 fiber into the house and Max has previously got out 50-60 mb / s and then near the router. Now I cut around 150 mb / s in the entire kitchen 😊

If you want high speed don't buy this lousy AP, bought this and an Edgerouter Max 5 POE, on wifi I reach max 280/240 mbit on a 1000/1000 mbit line but with my old Asus Ac3200 I reach 820/770 mbit. if i connect the cable straight into the edger router i reach 950/830 mbit so it is the AP that is scrap, better Wifi in a 5 year old ASUS, sad buy NOT!

Amazing. Really good signal strength and configuration options. The network goes a long way into the garden with these.

Significantly worse signal strength than my previous Asus RT AC 68U, which was replaced mainly because it was ugly. Although I still have coverage in all rooms, the signal strength is not near what I had with the previous router. Where I previously had clearly over 100Mbit / s I now have maybe 40. Max bandwidth I now reach only at a few meters distance. I would need an AC PRO per room to reach the same level as I had before. Smooth with remote management, but would like the product to perform on a par with my old Asus router.

As simple as it can be. After adventure with both D-link and Asus, I have found peace with Ubiquiti. Started with an access point as a complement to my Asus AC-66U, which failed to provide wifi throughout the house. After a while I switched off wifi at Asusen when I experienced it unstable compared to the new one. Now I have supplemented with one to AC Pro where the Asus was placed earlier and now the word is not unstable anymore.
