Fridge freezer is nice however the experience was over complicated and customer services are distinctly underwhelming (if you can get through). A “special team” is apparently required to remove some old appliances at the time of delivering the new one. This is not clear in the “tick box” forms of the Appliances Direct website ordering system - it all looks very easy and straightforward(it isn’t!) I broke my spine the previous week and obviously needed the new fridge freezer bringing in and the old one taking away. Turned out my old appliance was”too big” (no one had asked for measurements and my email had gone unanswered) If it hadn’t been for the help and over and above service given by the third party delivery company, it would still be sitting in my kitchen. Appliances Direct are happy to take the cash for collecting but could not give a damn when there was a problem (of their own making) If you have limitations or special considerations regarding size, type etc of the appliance being removed then please make this clear when taking the money for the service. Fridge freezer has been here for 4 days - so far so good. Looks good. Won’t buy from these guys again tho

Old built in oven failed Easter Monday. Ordered a replacement from Appliances Direct that afternoon and it was delivered next day at 09:15. Installed and in work by 09:35. All packaging removed and the old oven taken away. Can't get better than that!

I have had a terrible experience with my recent tumble dryer order. Customer service were not helpful and it took over 2 weeks & 4 attempts to finally get my tumble dryer delivered. ArrowXL are the delivery company that Appliances Direct use in the SW area and their service is awful. I do not recommend buying from this site and I will not be using them ever again. No stars given.

I received my new liebherr freezer but despite ordering at additional cost appliance direct did not remove the old freezer and new packaging. They now refuse to honour that contract except a refund. I am disappointed.

I discourage from shopping at AppliancesDirect. I ordered kitchen hood. As suggested I added additional parts. You pay for transaction with credit card and there are different prices for deliveries at different times (understandable). So I selected convenient for me delivery date paid extra for it !, organised people to install the hood on Saturday as parcel was supposed to arrive on Friday. It wasn't the next day. On the day I got notification it's coming. and guess what only the additional part arrived. Not the main order. Customer support is crap will contact you with 48 hours . Then they send you a message saying they tried to call but couldn't reach so call the number .... which is busy all the time. Parcel arrived on Monday after weekend after I had to cancel the people who were to install it. No apologies No money back for extra cost incurred for delivery on specific day. For a little saving it's better to buy elsewhere and not to have to stress yourself with incompetent people. No thanks appliancesdirect

Great prices, but added costs can get a bit steep. Fitting a washibg machine that only takes 5mins should not cost the same as one that takes an hour! Fitters were great and fruendly shame they were pushed on time given I had paid so much for deluvety and fitting etc.

Product and price excellent but the annoying phone call afterwards pretending to be checking everything was ok and delivered when they clearly knew it was then eventually after being prompted to get to the point as my babies were crying and it was to sell extended monthly warranty REALLY got my back up! Things like that really sour the experience that I haven’t had from the main players in appliance sales. Seriously drop that it’s going to be the next PPI scandel if companies start unwarranted sales like that.

I contacted the company to process a return of the juicer. It is very poor quality - the juicing attachment rotates when juicing, the entire juicer moves around the counter, the pulp comes out wet, and it produces very little juice - not to mention the tiny ingredients hole (carrots need to be cut in quarters). I received an email from Sarah Cook (Customer Service team) saying I could not return the juicer since it was used. This contradicts what is clearly states on the website: an item can be returned within 14 days at a rate that reflects the diminished use (two juices). I sent an email with this information and a screenshot and never heard back from Sarah Cook or anyone else regarding this purchase. It is now past 14 days and I'm really frustrated. I will be fighting for my complete refund at this point.

Excellent customer service support via web chat. Zoe was very helpful with numerous additional measurement requirements. Delivery was very impressive, 2 man delivery team unpacked my wine cooler, took all of the packaging away with them and delivered it into my kitchen. Great service all round thank you.

I ordered a Samsung microwave on the 17/3/19. Appliances Direct took my order with delivery promised in 2 weeks. After several emails to customer services we finally got the microwave on the 12/4/19. I feel that if an item is out of stock it should state at the point of order.

Ordered TV for my new flat. Arrived with no remote and no screws for the stand. Was promised a £10 refund so I could "get my own screws". I then received an email saying they weren't sure when the remote and screws would be delivered. Waited up to a week for it and the screws to arrive. No compensation given at all. Sitting in a new flat for days with no tv isn't fun. Wouldn't recommend at all.
