This looks like a UK company but is Danish. The coffee machine had an EU plug. Trading standards confirmed it is illegal to sell these in UK unless they have a converter plug attached ( one which needs a tool.to.open -not an adapter). The company were ignorant of this and denied they were doing anything wrong. I suggested they send the correct converter (Coffee Friend sell same with this) but they said they could only send an adapter - which is unsafe and illegal. NB the website gives no address or phone number. I have returned immediately for full refund which they ahreed to. please avoid. Pay by credit card to allow claim under S75 rights.

Ordered a webcam on 10th January. No sight of it 16 days later. Hermes UK have not received it. No response to emails. One delayed response after 5 emails: blame it on Brexit. The company is NOT located in UK, it is in Denmark. Will not cancel and refund. Pricespy should check its location.

Stressful experience. Didn't deliver (was it ever sent? Was it ever in stock?). Wouldn't refund. I had to apply for Visa chargeback.

Ordered a garden shredder received damaged shredder , returned over two months ago still no refund despite constant confirmation on its way !

Im wishing I had read the terrible reviews that the company has recieved, before I considered placing my order. I WILL be getting my bank to refund this amount in full as the customer care is horrendous. The chat support hasnt helped me in the slightest and the email they provided doesnt respond bar an automated email that states it will get back to you, I'm still waiting on a response from the one I sent on the 21st November!

This website is Fraudulent. I ordered an item which was described as delivery within 3-5 days. 3 weeks later I still have not received it. I’ve sent multiple emails that have been ignored every time. I’m going via my bank to get the payment refunded. AVOID. This site is not genuine.

It's a shame you can't give zero stars! I wish I had read reviews before purchasing from this website the negative reviews are all true and I will start a dispute with my bank to get my money back. I ordered a ps4 game it said 3 to 5 business days I decided to check on the website chat that my game was on its way I was told on Friday 27th it would arrive as I suspected it didn't. So I went back on the chat to ask where my game was to be told that they don't deal with delivery details on chat and I should email which confused me as I had spoken to an operator about my delivery a few days before. I have emailed and unsurprisingly just like the reviews I have heard nothing and I have still not received my order. Although its a genuine website, its a genuinely poor, unprofessional, scrupulous website. Also it's a Danish company not British so I'm unsure whether their orders are processed in the UK or not. But please people avoid this website it might be the cheaper option however you will receive no customer service no support and so far no item for your money

I ordered a game on 22nd October. On 8th November I was told it had been dispatched. 17 days later and it hasn't arrived. Online chat exists only to tell you they can't do anything and give you the e-mail, which I haven't had a response from at all. If you try raising the issue on trustpilot (the ONLY place they actually care about) you get a copy/paste excuse conveniently blaming COVID. I find this odd, considering I was told to wait a few days, then a week, then 16 days, then 21 days, with no mention of why. This alleged COVID delay hasn't held up any other deliveries, and they didn't mention it once in the numerous times I reached out through their site. All their positive reviews look to be copied from each other, with many coming from very new accounts, in places you wouldn't expect to use a shop based in Denmark (U.S for example). I don't believe my order is coming and will be pursung the issue through trading standards and hopefully can be refunded through my bank. Avoid these scammers at all costs. Save yourself the hassle, seriously.

Ordered a game for delivery on release day. Game never arrived, now over a week late and I've been told I have to allow 15 days! It was apparently sent by royal mail 1st class so why should I wait 15 days?! I've told them I want a refund but they are ignoring my emails! Avoid!

No option for Zero stars Company is incompetent and borderline criminal. Not based in the UK, which is not apparent from their .co.uk webpage. No ability to track items and unclear when, if ever, delivery will occur. COVID-19 is terrible and clearly not helping, but do yourself a favour and avoid this appalling company.

After some bad reviews I was dubious about ordering from these guys, but the playpen we were after was sold out everywhere and the price at CoolShop was hard to pass over, so we took a gamble. The website is slick and functions beautifully (I’m a web developer so you can take my word for it) and the order arrived quickly with fantastic tracking features. I had to use customer service regarding my order and even they were on it. Can’t fault coolshop, order from them with confidence.

disgusting, unprofessional, unreliable behaviour. please trust all the reviews here and never ever use this website. W placed an order 2 weeks ago, nothing arrived and their customer service can NOT be contacted. They are a UK shop but they do not have a contact number, there is a chat that is an automatic BOT that writes that on chat it is not possible to discuss issues with orders or deliveries.. useless! no one has taken help to help, they just took the money and disappeared

On Sunday 15th December I purchased a Nintendo Switch Console with Grey Joy-Con controllers (Upgraded Version) with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Nintendo Switch) after finding a deal on Hotukdeals.co.uk. Delivery was showing as 3 days and it was showing as being a UK power adaptor. First I knew that there was a problem with the order was when people were posting that the page had been changed and people were being sent messages that they were shipping uk adaptors as the Switch was actually a Euro plug. I contacted Coolshop and they sent me the details for the return but unfortunately the Switch arrived on Monday 23rd December - 2 days after the adaptor was delivered! This left me no time to find a replacement in time for Christmas and to my horror they had shipped a Neon and Blue version - not the Grey Joy-Cons that they had advertised and sold me. I had no choice other than to wrap and give the item for Christmas as I could not find, or even afford, to purchase a replacement and await a refund after shipping the item back to Coolshop. Disgusting behaviour - the old "Bait and Switch" routine usually found on the market stalls years ago - Del Boy Trotter would be proud of you Coolshop! So why did Coolshop not offer to replace the power supplies and let you ship the Euro one back to them. Why did they advertise the sale as Grey Joy-cons and actually ship Red and Blue? Basically because once they had your money and shipped so close to Christmas they had you over a barrel. They never even offer to replace the Joy-Cons with Grey ones. I will NEVER purchase from them again and I will post this review everywhere I can find and tell everyone about the appalling service. Unfortunately I had to leave one star - would like to have left no stars! Buyer Beware - this really is a bad company to deal with!

Wish I'd seen PriceSpy before ordering from Coolshop. Should have received my order between Wednesday to Friday and when I inquired on Friday as too where my item was I was told it woud come Saturday.21st Sept. Monday 23rd still without what was supposed to be part of a present. Yodel are the couriers.Tried their livechat to no avail and when I complained by email just got a standard reply but no more. It's now 5pm Thursday 26th and still no sign of my item and no word from Coolshop apart from an email from a founder of Coolshop Jakob Riisgard,asking me how I was enjoying my purchase. You can guess how that went down.

I purchased some software from this company. After a month of communication with the developers trying to get it to work on my 3 different high end computers (I am a retired Microsoft systems Engineer) they agreed a refund in writing. Coolshop from the beginning said unequivocally they would refund my money. A month after returning the software to coolshop and several emails (many ignored) they said they hadn't received the package. After sending them a proof of posting they admitted they had received it and said "A refund had been issued" and I would receive it within 7 days". Three weeks later I asked where my money was and they told me after 3 months of messing me around they won't give me a refund after all.Most bizarrely of all they said "it was against EU law to refund money on software/hardware that has been used". How the hell are you supposed find out if something works without using it ? If anyone from coolshop wants to dispute this I have very clear emails from them supporting every word I have said. If you really want to trust a company like this then go ahead but you could save yourself a lot of time and hassle by throwing your money down the drain.
